About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to perform oil changes and other light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air. Candidates should be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. The role offers base pay and commissions, with pay of up to $15 per hour. Paid training supports advancement opportunities, and more than 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Flexible schedules are available. Employees can access up to 50% of earned wages early through myFlexPay.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn and work hard with a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, except that applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Replace wiper blades and air filters and perform other light maintenance services.
