About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to perform oil changes and other light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires. Team members should be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. Paid training supports advancement within the company, and many Shop Managers began as lube technicians. Pay is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Flexible schedules are available, and same-day access to up to 50% of earned wages is available through myFlexPay.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; willingness to learn and work hard and a positive attitude are expected.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
