About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member to work as a crew member and lube technician. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, inflate tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The position offers base pay and commissions of up to $15 per hour, with opportunities to advance into leadership roles. Flexible schedules are available. The job requires reliable transportation and the ability to meet the listed physical demands and work in hot or cold weather when necessary.
Requirements
- No experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
