About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. The role is part-time, and flexible schedules are available. Pay is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Team members may have opportunities to advance through the company, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. The position involves working in a shop environment and may require working in hot or cold weather. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, move in and out of a shallow service pit, and perform physical activities for extended periods. Reliable transportation to and from the shop is required.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform other light maintenance services, such as replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air.
