About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member. The company provides training for the lube technician role; prior experience is not required. Team members perform oil changes and other light maintenance services, provide customer service, and help keep the shop stocked and clean. The role offers pay of up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Paid training supports advancement within the company.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Learn to replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services.
