About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and light vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides training. The role offers pay of up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Paid training can support advancement through the company, and more than 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Requirements

No experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, except in the listed states where applicants may be over 16: Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform light maintenance services, such as replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air.
