About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member to join its shop crew. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to become a lube technician. Team members perform oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while providing excellent customer service. The role offers opportunities to advance, with paid training intended to help employees progress into leadership positions. Compensation is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Requirements
- No experience is required; the company provides training.
- Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
- Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
