About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member, also described as a crew member or lube technician. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. The role involves changing oil and filters, replacing wiper blades and air filters, checking tire pressure, inspecting and topping off fluids, performing coolant exchanges, and providing other light maintenance services. Team members are expected to work hard, learn, bring a positive attitude, and provide excellent customer service. The position offers base pay and commissions of up to $15 per hour, with weekly bonuses available. The company describes opportunities for advancement, including a path from lube technician to shop manager and other leadership roles.

Requirements

No prior experience required; willingness to learn and work hard is expected.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters.
