About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and provide other light maintenance services. The role is suited to people who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Paid training supports advancement, and more than 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Full-time and flexible schedules are available.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
