About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacements, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The role suits people who enjoy working with cars, are self-motivated, willing to learn and work hard, and bring a positive attitude. The position offers base pay and commissions, with pay up to $15 per hour, and opportunities to advance into leadership roles.

Requirements

• No previous experience is required; willingness to learn and work hard and a positive attitude are needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years old, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
