About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Office Specialist for Baptist Internal Medicine Group at Baptist Baymeadows in Jacksonville, Florida. The position provides business services for patients and the healthcare system, including posting charges and payments and following telephone protocols. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, focused, task-oriented, self-motivated, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a busy, professional setting as an energetic team player. This is a day-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The primary location is BPC - Baymeadows, 8614 Baymeadows Way, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- People-oriented and adept at multitasking.
- Focused, task-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Able to thrive in a busy atmosphere and work professionally as a team player.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of front desk experience preferred.
- Experience working in a medical office preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide business services for patients and the healthcare system.
- Post charges and payments.
- Follow telephone protocols.
- Register patients.
- Check patients in and out.
- Scan documents.
- Assist patients as needed.
