About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for its Health Services Department, supporting Pam Grassick, CNP. The position performs administrative and direct-care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction, manages patient flow throughout visits, and performs required procedures and tasks as directed. The role is based at Avita Galion and Bucyrus Hospital locations. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. in Galion; Wednesday is closed; and Thursday and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. in Bucyrus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.
