About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for its Health Services Department, serving Pam Grassick, CNP, at Avita Galion and Bucyrus Hospital. The role performs administrative and direct-care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient flow throughout the visit and for performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

The stated schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. in Galion; Wednesday is closed; and Thursday and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. in Bucyrus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.
