Office Manager & Executive Assistant

Hybron Inc•Hawthorne, CA
•$70,000 - $95,000•Onsite

About The Position

Hybron is an advanced manufacturing company developing a proprietary composites manufacturing process that enables complex, high-performance composite parts to be produced 10–100 times faster than traditional manufacturing at a fraction of the cost. The company is scaling production of composite products for applications including artillery shells, solid rocket motor nozzles, gas turbine engine components, and airframes. This is a full-time, in-person position at Hybron's Hawthorne facility. The role combines office and facility management with executive assistance in a fast-growing, early-stage deep-tech startup. Approximately half of the time will be spent running the office and facility, including managing vendors, supplies, visitors, shipping and receiving, and the systems that support a productive and compliant team. The other half will support the leadership team through calendar management, travel, reservations, expense reports, meetings, notes, and filings. The role reports to the CEO and works closely with the leadership team. It also supports company-wide events, company swag, onboarding, and offboarding. The successful candidate will be a high-trust, self-starting generalist who can work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing responsibilities, protect executives’ focus time, and remain organized, discreet, and calm under pressure. As Hybron grows, the position may expand to include workplace and site development, facilities budgets and vendor contracts, leadership of an office and facilities team, support for additional executives, and conference and trade show logistics.
