About The Position

The Business Manager manages, coordinates, and directs the agency’s administrative support and non-clinical operations, ensuring duties are performed in a timely manner. The role also ensures administrative support for the Executive Director and/or Clinical Director operates effectively and efficiently. The position is with Conemaugh Home Health, part of LHC Group and the Optum family of businesses, which provides home health, hospice, and community-based services.

Requirements

At least one of the following: 3 or more years of healthcare experience, or 3 or more years of experience in an office administration role.
Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office suite.

Experience with payroll processes, supply management, and basic financial knowledge.

Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain contracts, binders, and HR and medical files for agency employees and contract staff in accordance with policy and applicable regulations.
Review, reconcile, and submit invoices to Home Office in accordance with LHC Group policy; ensure timely payment, follow up on concerns, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Perform or manage billing audits according to policy and follow up on corrections.
Manage clerical staff and non-clinical office workflows and processes, ensuring clerical tasks are completed on time.
Provide input into hiring, disciplinary, and separation decisions for clerical staff.
Ensure administrative support for the Executive Director and/or Clinical Director operates effectively and efficiently.
