The Department of Corrections is looking to hire an Office Assistant for the Mental Health Unit. This role involves preparing files and keyboarding various documents, coordinating and gathering paperwork, entering medical information into Offender 360 (O360), serving as a receptionist, and establishing and maintaining files. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and can multitask. The position provides clerical support to the Mental Health Department, keyboards difficult material including records, reports, and correspondence, reviews schedules to verify individuals in custody are receiving mental health services, and copies treatment review hearing reports to mail to the agency medical director. Other duties as assigned are also part of this role.
