In this role, you’ll be part of the Child Care Program Office and a mission-driven team working to support families and childcare providers across Alaska. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing front-line support to both internal staff and the public. You will provide administrative program support to the Child Care Licensing, Child Care Quality and Capacity Building, and the Child Care Eligibility and Benefits teams. Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • One year of experience that includes clerical tasks such as greeting clients, answering phones, typing, filing, sorting mail, entering data, receiving payments, making change, or maintaining logs.
  • Possess some or all of the following position-specific competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Self-Management, Teamwork.
  • Possess a regular driver's license and be 18 years of age or older (if required by the specific position).
  • Skill in typing (if required by the specific position).
