About The Position

The primary purpose of this position at the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) is to create a professional and customer-service environment for clients, guests, and investors. This role plays a crucial part in supporting EDAWN's operational efficiency. This position reports to and assists the COO and provides administrative and onsite events assistance for Investor Relations and Events team. The mission of EDAWN is to add quality jobs to the region by recruiting new companies, supporting the success of existing companies, and assisting newly forming companies, to diversify the economy and have a positive impact on the quality of life in Greater Reno-Sparks.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Salesforce expert for organization.
  • AI implementation- first responder for organization
  • Perform daily office management duties, serving as a critical EDAWN Team Member and representative of the organization, the first point of contact for in-office visitors and incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure the EDAWN Office is always presentable and organized.
  • Ensure all office machines are in exceptional running condition.
  • Responsible for the purchase and provision of furniture, fixtures (under the guidance of the COO) office, and breakroom supplies, considering the Operations budget.
  • Make weekly deposits, scan and file payables, and schedule meetings, administrative assistance, and correspondence for COO as needed.
  • Prepare and file the Annual State of Nevada Assessor’s report.
  • Prepare the monthly event registration payments report and coordinate monthly staff credit card submission for accounts payable.
  • Administer service contracts, STRIPE, GoDaddy accounts, PacStates Communications, (Phone system, server, and IT), Lake Tahoe Online, Smile Business, Basin Street Properties Parking contractor, and others as assigned.
  • Interface with the IT Company, office building staff and other vendors for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IT, hardware, software, office machines and computers and general office efficiency.
  • Provide excellent professional service to EDAWN primary companies, Investors, and external partners in person and on the phone. All communication is professional, client-driven, and helpful.
  • Manage employee supplies needs, including business cards, phone, computers and software, including Salesforce, Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, dress, and courteous demeanor.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required.
