About The Position

M. Price Distributing Co., a leading beverage distributor in Southeast Virginia, is seeking a motivated Office & Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role is perfect for a "jack of all trades" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to learn the beverage distribution industry from the ground up. You will balance general office administration with critical accounting tasks like pricing updates, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of financial or accounting principles through coursework or minor experience.
• Strong proficiency in Google Office applications, basic computer applications and AI.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to administrative detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple operational roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
• Input and maintain accurate product pricing and promotional structures.
• Assist with reconciling daily route delivery paperwork and customer payments.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies with retail customers and suppliers.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to appropriate team members.
• Manage general office tasks including filing, mail sorting, and data entry.
• Support the management team with reporting and administrative projects.
• Utilize Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides to create, update and maintain company files.
• Cross-train in multiple office operations to provide backup support as needed.
