Office 365 Knowledge/Collaboration Engineer
About The Position
The Office 365 Knowledge/Collaboration Engineer joins a team of Test and Evaluation (T&E) professionals to develop and maintain solutions for Government clients using SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI, and the Power Platform. The role collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to define constraints, document requirements, and identify, build, and deploy appropriate technical solutions. The engineer creates integrated reporting and dashboard solutions that provide actionable insights and operational intelligence, supports senior leaders’ data-driven decisions through visualizations and real-time analytics, and develops custom SharePoint applications to automate and improve workflow efficiency. The position also integrates Microsoft 365 tools and other systems, supports end users, and maintains the health and performance of deployed solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS, or another data analytics-related field, or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience integrating different data sources into Dataverse and SharePoint via Power Platform connectors.
- Experience working in Office 365.
- Experience working in the Power Platform.
- Experience with agile and iterative software development methodologies.
- Must be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance prior to start.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, and custom components.
- Implement custom workflows and forms using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Design and develop Power Apps applications to meet business requirements.
- Build Power Automate flows to automate processes across integrated apps and services.
- Build data models and generate insights using Power BI.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools, platforms, and third-party applications.
- Ensure data connectivity among SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other systems using common data services and API integrations.
- Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and test teams to define requirements and recommend solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end users.
- Monitor site health and performance and perform maintenance activities.
- Address user queries, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes promptly.
- Develop reporting and dashboard solutions that deliver actionable insights and operational intelligence.
- Support senior leaders’ decision-making with comprehensive visualizations and real-time analytics.
- Develop custom SharePoint applications to automate and optimize workflow processes.
