About The Position

Oracle is hiring an OD Software Sales Representative for its Government, Defense & Intelligence organization, covering the Federal Civilian market in a fully remote, inside sales role based anywhere in the United States. The representative identifies, qualifies, develops, and closes software sales opportunities within an assigned account territory, building new business and growing existing relationships through phone, email, and virtual meetings. The role owns account plans and sales goals and works with field sales, sales consultants, specialists, and partners to connect Oracle infrastructure and platform software—including database and security products—to customers’ business and mission needs. The representative manages opportunities from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close, communicates business value, total cost of ownership, and return on investment, and maintains accurate opportunity information. Travel may be needed. The posting describes duties as standard with some variation and says the employee completes their role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Oracle offers competitive benefits, including flexible medical, life insurance, and retirement options, and volunteer programs. A bachelor’s degree is preferred in the role description; the qualifications section accepts a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
