About The Position

As an Ocean Import Agent, you will support the daily operations of the Ocean Import team. You will manage shipment documentation, monitor and trace shipments, confirm details for incoming shipments, and coordinate workload for assigned teams. The role calls for excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, preferably in ocean freight operations.
• Proficiency in Office 365.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Self-motivation and eagerness to learn and accept new challenges.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CargoWise is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments.
• Ensure necessary shipment documentation is received, accurately processed, and properly distributed to the appropriate parties.
• Confirm all details for incoming shipments.
• Coordinate with team members by distributing tasks according to priority, ensuring deadlines are met and operational processes run smoothly.
