Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 6 months experience in Ocean Import
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to type 45 WPM
  • Attention to Detail
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Review and action daily workflow responsibilities, including turning over FCL firms codes to truckers within 48 hours of COB and entering FTX for all containers.
  • Review and update Delivery Notes within SOPs.
  • Action or delegate any customer service emails same-day.
  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow according to Expeditors' operational procedures.
  • Follow customer's standard operating procedures and proactively notify customers of any issues.
  • Consistently meet KPI standards, as per company's procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems according to Expeditors' operational procedures and customer requirements.
  • Monitor exception reports for quick data integrity resolution.
  • Invoice customers for expected charges timely and accurately according to Expeditors and customer requirements.
  • Properly provision service provider charges to avoid reserves.
  • Follow proper credit approval processes to minimize risk and protect the company.
