COTA -Occupational Therapy Assistant
About The Position
Broadview Multi-Care is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the Occupational Therapist in planning and delivering therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on providing quality care and helping residents achieve meaningful therapy outcomes and greater independence. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices.
- Passion for helping others and working as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar preferred setting; new graduates are considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and administering occupational therapy treatments.
- Support residents in achieving their therapy goals.
- Document resident progress and communicate with the care team.
- Help train staff to ensure continuity of care.
