Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
About The Position
Vitality Senior Living is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitative care to residents in senior living communities. As part of an on-site rehabilitation team, the COTA assists with services under specific medical orders and provides attentive, one-on-one therapy using functional treatments and a holistic, patient-centered approach. The role offers mentorship, hands-on experience with innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments, and opportunities to pursue clinical interests, develop subject matter expertise, and advance professionally. The position is eligible for a $2,500 bonus and pays $25.00–$37.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Associate of applied science degree in the area of discipline.
- Current occupational therapy assistant license in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one before starting.
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
- Provide one-on-one therapy services for residents.
- Administer functional treatments emphasizing holistic, patient-centered care.
