About The Position

Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in a facility setting. The role implements occupational therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. The assistant works collaboratively with peers, makes referrals when appropriate, and helps ensure patients and their families receive high-quality care in a caring and compassionate environment. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
