About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for Orange City Rehab, with a flexible schedule. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who may require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though a commitment and willingness to learn are also welcomed. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices. The assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities and may perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
