About The Position

Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team serving patients throughout Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, Midlothian, Hanover, and surrounding communities. This PRN opportunity offers flexibility, professional independence, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in your patients' lives. As a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain the skills, confidence, and independence needed to enjoy everyday life. Your care helps patients overcome challenges, celebrate progress, and achieve goals that once seemed out of reach.

Requirements

Active Virginia Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License Required
Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
Strong Communication and Documentation Skills

Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required
Passion for Delivering Exceptional Patient-Centered Care

Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional independence
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and adaptive techniques
Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic activities
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
