About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to care for a diverse patient population, with a flexible schedule. The role is based at Richardson Rehab. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The assistant must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities and performs other related duties as assigned or requested. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services through more than 80 locations, along with wound clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations, in 17 states. Its mission is to provide compassionate, expert care and support recovery through education and research.

Requirements

Be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Have current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities
