PRN Occupational Therapist

About The Position
The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients across ASC Therapies & Wellness settings, following occupational therapy principles and practices and applicable organizational policies and procedures. The role evaluates patients, provides quality care, develops treatment and discharge plans, supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), contributes to case management, and maintains positive interactions with patients and center staff. The position serves Hickory Creek Winamac and Hickory Creek Rochester on a PRN basis with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide quality patient care.
- Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans.
- Develop discharge plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Contribute to case management.
- Maintain positive interactions with patients and center staff.
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy.
