About The Position

Illinois Home Health, part of LHC Group and the Optum family of businesses, is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist for home health care. The Occupational Therapist assesses and evaluates patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs defined by medical conditions. The role provides care in patients’ homes in accordance with state practice laws, the plan of care, evidence-based techniques, and coordination with the healthcare team. The position uses per-visit-point compensation for visits and hourly compensation for certain non-visit activities, such as orientation. Annual total cash compensation estimates are based on full-time employment at 40 weekly hours and full productivity; this does not change the PRN designation of the role.
