About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners provides neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in their homes and communities. The Occupational Therapist provides individualized, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team that develops integrated treatment plans. Treatment uses evidence-based approaches and meaningful activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. The role is based in Plano, Texas, and surrounding areas, with PRN positions available.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs), and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Evaluate and address visual and perceptual skills and cognitive needs.
- Evaluate and address adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
