PRN Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Riverside Village is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness settings, following occupational therapy principles and practices and applicable policies and procedures. The role evaluates patients, develops and implements treatment and discharge plans, supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), contributes to case management, and maintains positive interactions with patients and center staff. The Occupational Therapist must adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy. The position offers access to a variety of shifts and schedules, collaboration with licensed therapists and Directors of Therapy, and opportunities to build relationships while serving senior residents across local ASC facilities. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide quality patient care.
- Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans.
- Develop discharge plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Contribute to case management.
- Maintain positive interactions with patients and center staff.
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy.
