About The Position
The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and treatment for neuro and orthopedic patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting in San Antonio, Texas. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions to promote recovery, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. The assignment is 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, a schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, and two weekend shifts per month. Travelers must float as needed in accordance with facility policies. Call requirements will be discussed during the interview. The facility is part of a healthcare provider with more than 50 years of experience delivering care to patients in the surrounding areas and beyond. Its services range from wellness events to specialized treatments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation and/or hospital experience.
- Active Occupational Therapist license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
Nice To Haves
- 2–3 years of experience in rehabilitation and/or acute hospital settings.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- NDT or brain injury certifications.
