PRN Occupational Therapist
About The Position
The Occupational Therapist implements skilled occupational therapy services for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness settings, in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices and applicable policies and procedures. The role evaluates patients, develops treatment and discharge plans, supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), contributes to case management, maintains positive interactions with patients and center staff, and adheres to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy. The position offers access to a variety of shifts and schedules and opportunities to collaborate with licensed therapists and Directors of Therapy while serving senior residents across local ASC facilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide quality patient care.
- Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans.
- Develop discharge plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA).
- Contribute to case management.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with patients and center staff.
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy.
