About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The role is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to the further development of services, remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities, and perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcome, as is a commitment and desire to learn.

Requirements

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care.
Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
Contribute to the further development of services.
Remain flexible to meet the needs of the System across different facilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
