About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The role focuses primarily on direct patient care and on planning and implementing age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to the further development of services and must be flexible to meet the System’s needs across different facilities. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though a desire and commitment to learn is also welcomed.

Requirements

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care.
Plan and implement age-appropriate occupational therapy treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
Contribute to the further development of services.
Flexibly meet the needs of the System across different facilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
