About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices and the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the System’s needs across different facilities. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care.
Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices and the PAM Health System.
Contribute to the further development of services.
Be flexible in meeting the needs of the System across different facilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
