About The Position

The Occupational Therapist provides clinical services to children in their homes throughout Ventura, California, with occasional on-site support in Santa Barbara, California. The role includes assessing clients, delivering specialized services and individualized in-home sessions aligned with each child’s treatment plan, and managing cases. The Occupational Therapist also provides clinical and administrative guidance to paraprofessionals, participates in weekly staff meetings and trainings, and maintains required notes, progress reports, certifications, and other documentation or renewals. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position is hourly and non-exempt, paying $60 per hour for clinical work and $20 per hour for administrative and training work.

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapy License in California.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes to provide services.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Early Intervention is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build trust and rapport with clients by providing consistent, quality service.
Conduct assessments for clinical services, provide specialized services, and manage client cases.
Manage paraprofessionals by providing clinical and administrative guidance.
Conduct in-home sessions tailored to each child’s treatment plan.
Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings and contribute to discussions about presented cases.
Maintain current notes, progress reports, employee certifications, and other required documentation or renewals.
