About The Position

The Neighborhood at Rio Rancho in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to join its therapy team. The community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Support. The therapist will provide rehabilitation services to residents and help support their well-being. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus to direct applicants who qualify.

The Occupational Therapist screens and evaluates residents, conducts re-evaluations, plans discharges, and revises established plans of care under the supervision of a physician. This job summary is not an all-inclusive list of duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification and licensure as established by state and national board associations.
• Active state license.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures.
• Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents.
• Evaluate and re-evaluate residents.
• Plan for resident discharges.
• Revise established plans of care under the supervision of the Physician.
