About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time, school-based Occupational Therapist in Schaumburg. The therapist will help improve students’ lives and support their success in school and beyond by providing high-quality occupational therapy services based on students’ IEPs and 504 plans. The role includes conducting evaluations and assessments and writing reports to identify students’ strengths and areas of concern, including fine motor skills and handwriting. PDS provides therapists with support and a tailored mentorship program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State Occupational Therapy license.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports identifying students’ strengths and areas of concern, including in fine motor skills and handwriting.
