About The Position

This is a 13-week contract assignment for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a long-term care or rehab setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with cognitive and ADL-related physical functioning disorders. Key responsibilities include developing individualized plans of care, providing skilled interventions, monitoring patient progress, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The position offers flexible 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts required. Any on-call schedule will be determined by the facility.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Prior long-term care or rehab experience.
• Active Missouri OT license at the time of submission.
• If a new graduate, must have completed Level II fieldwork experience.
• Comfortable supervising assistants, aides, and students.
• Ability to follow all state practice acts, ethical standards, and professional guidelines under NBCOT, AOTA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Current resume.
• Skills checklist completed within the last year.
• 0-1 reference at the time of submission.

Responsibilities
