About The Position
This position is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working 8-hour day shifts, supporting patients with cognitive and physical impairments in a rehab/LTC setting. The COTA delivers skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving independence with daily activities and functional mobility.
Requirements
- Active COTA license (Texas)
- At least 1 year of OTA experience
- LTC or rehabilitation experience
- Strong knowledge of ADL training
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions
- Strong knowledge of documentation standards
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Improve independence with daily activities and functional mobility for patients with cognitive and physical impairments.
