About The Position

We are seeking a Part-Time or PRN Occupational Therapist to join our hospital-based team in Peru Indiana, providing care across both inpatient and outpatient settings with flexible weekday and weekend opportunities available. In this role, you will evaluate and treat residents to help them improve their independence, safety, functional abilities, and overall quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled occupational therapy services, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. The OT will also provide guidance and supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid Occupational Therapist state license or license eligibility
Strong clinical assessment skills.
Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical record platform.

Nice To Haves

Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.

Responsibilities
