About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist for approximately 10 hours per week. The role offers pay of $50 or more per hour, based on experience, and some part-time benefits may be available. Additional hours and growth opportunities may be available. Occupational Therapists evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; develop individualized treatment plans; educate clients and families; maintain documentation; and advocate for clients’ needs. The organization provides clinical services in a variety of settings, including nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home care, schools, and clinics.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance their functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
