About The Position
Functional Pathways is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist at the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City, Nevada. The facility provides long-term care, rehabilitation services, and hospice care to veterans. The Occupational Therapist will work as part of the therapy team to provide care to residents. Under physician supervision, the role screens and evaluates residents, conducts re-evaluations, plans discharges, and revises established plans of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures.
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
Responsibilities
- Screen residents.
- Evaluate and re-evaluate residents.
- Plan discharges.
- Revise established plans of care under physician supervision.
