About The Position
The outpatient orthopedic team is seeking an Occupational Therapist to treat pelvic health patients and provide quality patient care. The role focuses on helping patients return to athletics, work, daily life, and the activities they enjoy. The team values mentorship and collaborative care, and new graduates are welcome to apply. The position is based in Norway, Maine, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule. Part-time and PRN opportunities are also available. The listed salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, based on experience. Benefits apply to full-time employees working 32 or more hours per week.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy.
- State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR certification.
- Valid state driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and use evidence-based practice, including research, clinician expertise, and patient perception.
- Develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain positive interactions with centers and patients.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to establish objective patient goals and determine the type, frequency, and duration of occupational therapy.
- Understand and follow the applicable state Practice Act and laws governing occupational therapy practice and supervision.
- Participate in designing and implementing new programs or procedures with manager and referring physician approval, following HIPAA guidelines.
- Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care in accordance with state rules and federal regulations.
- Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation accurately and promptly.
