About The Position

A full-time Occupational Therapist is sought for a permanent, direct-hire position at a skilled nursing facility in Bowie, Maryland. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative and supportive. New graduates and experienced occupational therapists are welcome. The role includes evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, documenting progress, educating patients and caregivers, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and guiding Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). The schedule is Monday through Friday. The estimated pay range is $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Maryland license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve function and independence.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
