About The Position
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join its dedicated rehab therapies team. This position is ideal for someone looking for a Part-Time OT role at a State-of-the-Art physical rehab hospital in Schenectady, working only every Sunday and Monday. Sunnyview is a Nationally ranked facility, recognized as one of the top 30 “Best Rehab Hospitals” by U.S News and World Reports.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree.
- Current NYS OT license and registration.
- Must be able to function well within a team concept of rehabilitation professionals.
- Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques.
- Establish, implement, and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency).
- Document accurately and in a timely manner.
