About The Position

Part-time delivery driver for a fresh and healthy food delivery service. The driver operates a refrigerated Transit van to deliver meals to Grab & Go Fridges and uses a smartphone for directions and customer information. The regular shift is every Monday, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., depending on the route, with an option to work Sundays and Tuesdays for fill-in or installation jobs. Shifts may last 7–10 hours, with an overtime rate. The driver must pick up and drop off the Transit vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga and undergo a background check.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean seven-year driving record, with no accidents or tickets.
• Must have no misdemeanors or felonies in the past seven years.
• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Must be able to get in and out of a van quickly throughout the day.
• Must be comfortable using a smartphone for directions and customer information.
• Must be attentive to detail and deliver accurately.
• Must be prepared to undergo a background check; no exceptions.
• Must be energetic and committed to customer service and safety.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of commercial vehicle driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a refrigerated medium-roof Transit van and deliver meals accurately to Grab & Go Fridges.
• Use a smartphone for directions and customer information.
• Pick up and drop off the Transit vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga.
• Prioritize safety and customer expectations and satisfaction.
• Work the Monday route and, optionally, Sunday or Tuesday fill-in and installation jobs.
